Peak One Surgery Center in Frisco, Colo., recently participated in the fourth-annual Community Surgery Day to provide surgical care for the community's underserved population, according to a Summit Daily report.
Procedures included knee, shoulder, hernia and gynecology surgeries with nine surgeon volunteers and 50 other anesthesia, nurse and healthcare professionals volunteering as well. The center also arranged for patients to undergo physical therapy and surgical supplies were donated for the procedures.
