Anchor Health Properties is marketing a lot in Nashville, Tenn., that could accommodate a five-story medical office building, Nashville Post reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. The property is currently home to a parking lot. It is located behind a building Anchor owns, near Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.
2. The goal for the site is to accommodate at least one tenant, according to Michael Dossett, Anchor senior vice president of development. Anchor has received confidential inquiries from various medical entities and is open to allowing physician investment, he said.
3. The size and design of the potential building are undetermined, but Anchor is anticipating three levels of parking, and two floors with about 22,000 square feet of medical office space each.
4. The building adjacent to the lot in question has multiple tenants, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
"Being in the Midtown medical subdistrict, the property has no deed restrictions and is suitable for a building to offer a private practice, an operator of an ASC or other outpatient/inpatient uses," Mr. Dossett said.
