Bristol, Pa.-based Lower Bucks Hospital's new CEO Kelly Lorah wants to promote and expand the hospital's ASC, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. In addition to the ASC, Ms. Lorah is working on promoting and expanding the cardiovascular center and behavioral health unit.
2. Under her direction, Lower Bucks' wound care center began performing peripheral arterial disease screenings to identify a need for wound care and cardiology services.
3. The CEO consulted local behavioral health providers and state agencies about improving the hospital's behavioral health unit.
4. She is also working on making improvements in the emergency department and attaining a trauma center certification for it.
5. Ms. Lorah was previously The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's in-house operations and strategic development consultant. She succeeds Linda Grass.
