Ulster, N.Y.-based HealthQuest Medical Practice signed a lease to move into a vacant Macy's building to construct an $18 million ASC, urgent care center and oncology practice, the Daily Freeman News reported.
Here are the key details to know:
1. The surgery center wouldn't open until the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021.
2. The lease was signed earlier this month. Hull Property Group, the owner of the space, is scheduled to file planning applications for changes to the building.
3. HealthQuest is set to submit documents for use changes for the building to change from a retail to a medical facility.
