Baton Rouge (La.) General opened the Mid City Specialty Center in Baton Rouge, the first ASC in Mid City, WAFB9 reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. BRG celebrated the opening with an open house Oct. 18.
2. Mid City Specialty Center surgeons will perform same-day surgeries including angiograms, catheter placement and other minimally invasive procedures for vascular patients.
3. At 12,000 square feet, the center has the capacity to include additional services.
