The Pleasant Prairie (Wis.) Plan Commission approved the third phase of Advocate Aurora (Ill.) Health's $130 million ASC and medical office building Oct. 22, Kenosha News reports.
Here are four things to know:
1. The plan commission unanimously approved the third phase of development, which includes completion of exterior plans for the surgery center and physicians office building.
2. Developers plan to present construction documents for the fourth and final phase this fall.
3. The 100,000-square-foot ambulatory care center and 100,000-square foot professional office building are expected to open in the summer of 2020. Aurora formally broke ground Oct. 9.
4. The facility will offer primary care, orthopedics, urology, outpatient surgery and rehabilitation services, as well as onsite imaging, laboratory services, occupational health services and a pharmacy.
