9 ASC developments worth $10M+ — September 2018

Here are nine ASC developments worth more than $10 million:

Los Angeles-based Good Samaritan Hospital opened the Frank R. Seaver Ambulatory Surgery Center Sept. 4 as part of the $100M Good Samaritan Medical Pavilion.

Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock trustees approved a $59 million expansion of its Manchester clinic, which includes an ASC, MRI unit and new offices. The ASC will have six operating rooms, and construction is expected to start next spring.

The Bossier City (La.) Council passed an ordinance allowing the sale of a 13.7-acre property to a company looking to build a $35 million medical development with an ASC.

Hartford, Conn.-based St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and Hartford-based Lighthouse Surgery Holdings are partnering to build the Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center in Hartford. The 33,000-square-foot ASC will cost $26.5 million to build.

Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International secured a $23.46 million loan to build a surgery center in West Palm Beach, Fla. The project is a joint venture between USPI's parent company, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, and New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.

Ulster, N.Y.-based HealthQuest Medical Practice signed a lease to move into a vacant Macy's building to construct an $18 million ASC, urgent care center and oncology practice.

Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Charles, Ill., is building a new facility expected to cost $16,618,319.

A public hearing is set to take place Oct. 12 on Hendersonville, N.C.-based Pardee UNC Health Care's $16.3 million ASC application in Mills River, N.C.

Medford (Mass.) Surgery Center plans to construct a freestanding ASC on the former Lawrence Memorial Hospital campus in Medford. The project is expected to cost $14,675,550.
