New York City-based Kofinas Fertility Group opened New York's first standalone reproductive ASC.
Three highlights:
1. The Manhattan Reproductive Surgery Center in New York City is the state's only freestanding ASC dedicated to endometriosis and uterine fibroid treatments.
2. Commercial payers of companies with 100-plus employees will cover all in-vitro fertilization and fertility preservation surgeries performed at MRSC beginning Jan. 1, 2020, when New York's Fair Access to Fertility Treatment Act takes effect.
3. Kofinas Fertility Group's seven physicians provide outpatient care for gynecological conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, infertility and congenital abnormalities of the uterus.
