Here's what you should know:
1. Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center General Hospital applied for a CON to acquire and renovate an existing urology/gynecological ASC in South Charleston, W.Va. The hospital expects to spend $277,740 on the project.
2. Charleston-based Chesapeake Healthcare Center requested exemption from a a CON to develop a medication-assisted treatment service for its ASC in Chesapeake, W.Va.
3. Bluefield (W.Va.) Clinic Company seeks to add an ASC to its portfolio by acquiring the general surgery practice of Izhar Rana, MD, for $100,000.
