A 10-physician group is building a multispecialty ASC in one of North Texas' fastest-growing communities, according to local news station WBAP.
Five details:
1. The single-story ASC will occupy 23,000 square feet in Anna, Texas.
2. It will have four operating rooms, one procedure room dedicated to ophthalmic procedures and two procedure rooms designated for gastroenterology services.
3. The ASC is expected to open in the spring of 2020.
4. The ASC's physician-owners are surgeons specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, ophthalmology, ENT and gastroenterology.
5. The group has already developed and staffed similar ASCs in North Texas, where it also plans to develop a medical campus.
