Coast Surgery Center. The surgery center is accredited by the Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Health Care. The freestanding facility is physician-owned and operated, and it has been a member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association since 1999. The center offers surgical services including spine care, orthopedics and pain management.
Mission Valley Heights Surgery Center. The freestanding ASC is Medicare-certified and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory for Ambulatory Health Care. The center's 17 physicians provide care for orthopedic conditions, back pain, podiatric issues and pain management. Pat Minero is the center's administrator.
Oasis Surgery Center. Opened in 1997, the surgery center is accredited by The Joint Commission. The center includes approximately 100 credentialed physicians on staff who offer services in orthopedics, podiatry, plastic surgery and pain management.
Physicians Surgery Center at Alvarado. The center features five surgical and procedure rooms, as well as pre-surgery and recovery bays. It is certified by Medicare and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. It is owned and operated by physicians, who offer surgical services in a number of specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology and pain management.
Rancho Bernardo Surgery Center. The surgery center is an affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates. Stephanie McIntosh, RN, BSN, serves as the center's administrator. The center offers care in a number of specialties, such as gastroenterology, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT and urology.
San Diego Endoscopy Center. The ASC, opened in 1992, was the first freestanding endoscopy center built in Southern California. It is accredited by AAAHC and Medicare-certified. The center includes 10 physician partners and its administrator is Rhonda Smith. The center offers colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy and feeding tube placement.
San Diego Outpatient Ambulatory Surgical Center. The surgery center opened in 1974 and is certified by Medicare. The center includes four operating rooms and six recovery beds. Its physicians provide care in numerous specialties, including colon and rectal surgery, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT and urology.
SMI Surgery Center. The 12,000-square-foot ASC features operating rooms and two private 23-hour stay rooms for extended recovery patients. It is Medicare-certified and accredited by The Joint Commission. The center was opened in 2009 and it includes seven physicians. It is a multispecialty facility and features services in orthopedics, pain management and neurosurgery.
Surgical Center of San Diego. The surgery center offers surgical services in gynecology, orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, general surgery, urology, gastroenterology and ENT. The center is equipped with the latest technology and includes highly trained healthcare professionals.
