Question: What's something you've implemented at your center that has seen great results, which other ASC administrators could also do?

Woodrow Moore: Recognize the stress holiday parties place on staff.I mentioned these holiday financial and time pressures to my ASC surgeon-partner and together we decided not to hold a big holiday bash this year. We instead chose to simply give employees holiday bonuses which were a big hit. In doing so we lessened holiday stress, saved time and money and made out staff happy during the holidays while they worked hard in the last quarter of the year. Win-win-win.
