Atlanta-based Eye Health America named Philip Islam its chief development officer.
Here's what you should know:
1. Mr. Islam is a longtime healthcare executive. He previously served in executive roles at Allegan, NCI and Merck.
2. He most recently served as EXP Advisor Group's principal and executive consultant.
3. Mr. Islam is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society and Caribbean Eye Planning Committee.
4. He also co-founded Northbay Christian Academy.
