Thomas Wyman, MD, is about to celebrate his 40th anniversary with Peoria-based Illinois Eye Center, Central Illinois Proud reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. Dr. Wyman has performed more than 25,000 cataract surgeries.
2. He was instrumental in bringing refractive surgery to the Peoria area.
3. The late George Wyman, MD, founded the Illinois Eye Center more than 60 years ago. The practice has since become a primary regional referral center for eye care in central Illinois.
4. Patrick Rhode, MD, said about Dr. Wyman, "His greater impact has been through his leadership in caring for patients and for those with whom he works. Wyman has achieved his success with his genuine kindness and his willingness to always put others first."
