7 hospital, health system CEO exits in 2 weeks

Here are seven healthcare leaders who have vacated their CEO roles, as reported by Becker's since Oct. 10:

1. Krista Roberts is retiring from her role as CEO of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Okla., on Dec. 1.

2. The chief executives of two Providence hospitals in California will be leaving their positions as part of a restructuring to streamline executive roles. Terry Wooten will leave his role as chief executive of Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, Calif., and Chuck Kassis will leave his role as chief executive of Santa Rosa (Calif.) Memorial Hospital, effective in November.

3. Hal Paz, MD, left his role as CEO of Stony Brook (N.Y.) Medicine and executive vice president for health sciences at Stony Brook University.

4. Clay Holderman left his role as CEO of West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health after it called off a planned merger with Albuquerque, N.M.-based Presbyterian Health Services. 

5. Jeffrey DiLisi, MD, CEO of Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis Healthcare System, chose not to renew his contract for 2024.

6. Pete Delgado, president and CEO of Salinas (Calif.) Valley Health, resigned from his role.
