ASC developer Shields Health Care Group has appointed Peter Ferrari as the company's new president.
Mr. Ferrari joined Shields in 2005, most recently served as Shields' chief strategy officer, and has been instrumental in launching the company's ASC line. Before joining Shields, Mr. Ferrari held leadership positions at Meditech and Winchester Hospital.
Thomas Shields will serve as the company's CEO.
“We have now reached the size and scale that is best served by separating the two roles — CEO and president — as part of our long-term strategic plan. Peter’s vision, leadership style, industry expertise and market understanding have helped guide our success, enabling us to diversify and grow to the company we are today," Mr. Shields said.
