Anesthesiologist Rupa Dainer, MD, was named chief surgical officer of Fairfax-based Pediatric Specialists of Virginia.
Three details:
1. In her new role, Dr. Dainer will lead multiple surgical specialties.
2. Previously, she was medical director of PSV's ASC.
3. Before joining PSV in 2015, Dr. Dainer served as pediatric anesthesiology chief for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
