Chesapeake Urology added Laura Giusto, MD, Melissa Mendez, MD, and Alan Kaplan, MD, to its practice, expanding its reach into the Maryland suburbs.

1. Dr. Giusto is a female pelvic medicine specialist. She earned her medical degree from New Brunswick, N.J.-based Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed an internship and residency at Philadelphia-based Temple University and completed her fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

2. Dr. Mendez is a sexual dysfunction specialist. She earned her medical degree from Baltimore-based University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed a residency at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Hospital and her fellowship at Tampa-based University of South Florida.

3. Dr. Kaplan is a general urologist. He earned his medical degree from Israel-based Tel Aviv University. He completed a residency at UCLA School of Medicine and his fellowship at UCLA Health System.
