The O'Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce awarded Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh (Ill.) its O'Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce 43rd Annual Salute to Business Award for Economic Impact, O'Fallon Weekly reports.
What you should know:
1. The hospital received the award for its medical office building project.
2. The chamber recognized the building because it increased and improved access to care for the hospital's patients.
3. Forty full-time employees staff the building. Since opening in October 2017, providers have performed more than 125,000 procedures on more than 50,000 patients.
4. Memorial Hospital East is currently building a second medical office building, which will house the Siteman Cancer Center.
