The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration on Nov. 4 revamped its price transparency tool to provide citizens access to facility-specific cost information.
The agency has pricing information for 44 of the most common nonemergency hospital and ASC-based procedures. It also has cost averages for more than 200 office- or clinic-based services. The agency determined its pricing information by averaging 67.6 million insurance claims. The estimates presented below were based on paid claims data from Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2017.
