The University Medical Center of El Paso in Texas has begun using Medtronic's artificial intelligence endoscopy module GI Genius.
GI Genius is used to improve adenoma detection rate during colonoscopies.
The hospital is the first in the region to use the technology, according to an April 17 news release from the University Medical Center of El Paso. The module will be used at the hospital's digestive health center.
