Gastroenterologist Satish Iduru, MD, aims to create a network of independent physicians to help independent physicians achieve savings in business expenses with his new organization, Doctors IPA, according to the Daily Telescope.

1. Dr. Iduru founded Doctors IPA, a network that can negotiate as a group on behalf of members to achieve savings in payroll services, malpractice insurance, home insurance and credit card processing fees.
2. Based in Houston, Dr. Iduru is a private practice physician who aims to achieve savings through the organization. According to the report, members save around:
• $2,000 annually in payroll services
• $5,000-plus in malpractice, home and auto insurance
• $2,500 annually in credit card processing fees
3. Membership fees to join the organization are $1,500.
4. Affiliated vendors agreed to extend to Doctors IPA the savings experienced by a 5,000-plus employee organization, according to the report.
5. Doctors IPA also has a voluntary employees beneficiary association.
