Schneck Medical Center provides free coloCARE kits

Seymour, Ind.-based Schneck Medical Center is providing free coloCARE kits, the Seymour Tribune reports.

Schneck is giving out the kits in March for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. The kits test for hidden blood in stool, a possible sign of colorectal cancer.

Free coloCARE kits are available at:

  • Schneck Primary Care in Seymour and Brownstown, Ind.
  • Schneck Endoscopy Center at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour
  • Schneck Family Care in North Vernon, Scottsburg and Salem, all in Indiana

CRC is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., but 90 percent of colorectal cancer cases are curable if caught early.
