Researchers at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, have created a scope that will allow gastroenterologists a 360-degree view during colonoscopies, according to a Winnipeg Free Press report.
The scope, which offers a comprehensive view much like Google Street View, will use blood vessels to map the colon and an infrared light camera to give gastroenterologists thousands of pictures.
