Phenomenome Discoveries Develops Test to Identify Patients at Risk of Colon Cancer

Phenomenome Discoveries, at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, has created Cologic, a blood test that can indicate whether or not a patient is at risk of colon cancer even before the cancer has begun to develop, according to a Leader-Post report.

The discoveries of researcher Sean Richie made the development of the Cologic test possible.

Phenomenome Discoveries intends to forge onwards with this discovery and develop blood tests to detect other illnesses including Alzheimer's disease, pancreatic cancer and ovarian cancer.
