March is colorectal cancer awareness month, and a petition aims to light the White House in blue lights, according to the White House website.
Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S., but the nature of the disease prevents people from talking about it. The petition needs 25,000 signatures before March 14 and currently has just over 1,000.
