Olympus, a medical and surgical products technology company, announced new initiatives designed to support National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Olympus is partnering with Douglas Rex, MD, on satellite TV and radio media tour, sponsoring a Colon Cancer Coalition four-mile run and hosting an educational event with Steven Lichtenstein, MD, director of the gastroenterology division at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Philadelphia.
Olympus is also working to motivate employees to become advocates and educators on the importance of colorectal cancer screening.
