Olympus and Gyrus ACMI, an Olympus company, have received, as partners, the Premier Inc. Performance Award for operational excellence, according to an Olympus release.
Only 38 out of 800 suppliers to received the award in 2011. The award recognizes the partner's performance, which exceeded operational expectations, according to the release. Performance data is collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters.
"Olympus is honored to be recognized as a 2011 Premier Performance Award winner," said Rick Harbuck, group vice president for Olympus' endoscopy division, in the release.
