Here's what you should know.
1. New York City-based Perceptive Advisors were the lead investors in the deal.
2. Motus said the funding will support the U.S. launch of Motus Pure-Vu system. The Pure-Vu system cleans poorly-prepared colons during colonoscopy.
3. Motus received FDA 510(k) clearance for the Pure-Vu in September 2016.
