Mayo Clinic has opened a clinic for the treatment of C. difficile infections at its Rochester, Minn., campus, according to a News Medical report.
The clinic will offer evaluation and management of patients with complex cases of C. difficile infection, oral drug therapy, fecal microbiota transplantation, clinical trials for new treatments and ongoing research.
Mayo Clinic gastroenterologists Sahil Khanna, MBBS, and Darrell Pardi, MD, will offer care at the clinic.
