Kent Katz, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Casper, Wyo.-based Gastroenterology Associates.
He earned his medical degree from University of Washington at St. Louis. He completed a residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and a fellowship at UC Irvine.
Dr. Katz focuses on Crohn's disease, colon cancer detection and prevention and endoscopic ultrasound. He is an active researcher with works published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
He is an American Gastroenterological Association fellow and an American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy member.
Dr. Katz attributes his love of skiing, fishing, hunting and star gazing to growing up in Twin Falls, Idaho. He has carried those passions through his life, which he now shares with his wife and two children.
