John F. Thompson, MD, is the gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition division chief at New York City-based The Children's Hospital at Montefiore.
Before joining The Children's Hospital of Montefiore, Dr. Thompson served as the pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition director at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine for 16 years.
He specializes in treating complex childhood gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Dr. Thompson earned his medical degree from the Chicago-based Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.
