GI Alliance, One GI and more: 10 updates in Q2

Here are 10 moves from three major gastroenterology groups that Becker's has reported in the second quarter of 2023:

GI Alliance

  • Ocean Springs, Miss.-based Digestive Health Center joined GI Alliance.
  • GI Alliance partnered with Digestive Health Consultants in Silverdale, Wash.
  • GI Alliance partnered with St. Louis-based Specialists in Gastroenterology.
  • GI Alliance partnered with the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

One GI

  • One GI appointed Sean Mercado as its senior vice president of payer strategy.
  • One GI partnered with Gastroenterology Associates of Tidewater in Chesapeake, Va., furthering its reach in the state. 
  • One GI partnered with Nashville, Tenn.-based TransSouth, one of the longest-standing gastroenterology practices in the area. 

U.S. Digestive Health

  • U.S. Digestive Health added four medical providers to its growing team, including two physicians and two advanced practice providers.
  • U.S. Digestive Health relocated its office to a shopping center in Downingtown, Pa., to join its affiliated endoscopy center, Central Chester County Endoscopy.
  • US Digestive Health opened a gastroenterology office in Collegeville, Pa.
