Gastroenterologist Touraj Zolfaghari, MD, has joined Sutter North Medical Group in California, according to a Sutter North Medical Foundation Facebook post.
Dr. Zolfaghari practices out of Sutter Medical Foundation's gastroenterology and endoscopy center in Yuba City, Calif.
He received his MD from University of Debrecen in Hungary, according to an Appeal-Democrat report. Dr. Zolfaghari then completed a residency at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in New York and a fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in Wakefield, N.Y.
