Gastroenterologist Frank Bone, MD, has died, according to his obituary.
Dr. Bone died July 25. He was 93.
Dr. Bone received his MD from Duke Medical School. He moved to Orlando in 1950 and practiced medicine until his retirement in 1999.
He was Orlando's first gastroenterologist, and was part of Orlando Regional Healthcare System. Dr. Bone was a founding member, vice president and later president of the Florida Gastroenterology Society.
