Gastroenterologist Amitpal S. Johal, MD, has been promoted to director of endoscopy in the division of gastroenterology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., according to an Medical College of Wisconsin alumni newsletter (pdf).
Dr. Johal received his MD from Medical College of Wisconsin, according to his bio. He completed a residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland and a fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center.
Dr. Johal's clinical interests include endoscopic ultrasound, Barrett's ablation, and biliary and pancreatic disorders.
