East Texas Medical Center added Ashish Gangasani, MD, Paul Kyser, MD, Moises Sidransky, MD, and Umair Sohail, MD, to its staff, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reports.
Here's what you should know.
1. Dr. Gangasani is a board-certified cardiologist and internist. He attended medical school at the India Institute of Medical Sciences. He completed a residency at State University of New York and a fellowship at the Ohio State University.
2. Dr. Kyser is a family medicine physician. He started his career as a broadcast journalist in East Texas for 25 years, before earning his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the San Jacinto Center for Family Medicine in Baytown.
3. Dr. Sidransky is an interventional pain management specialist. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas. He completed an internship and a residency at Louisiana State University and had a fellowship at Emory University.
4. Dr. Sohail is an internal medicine physician and gastroenterologist. He earned his medical degree from the Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. His residency was completed at St. Luke's Hospital in Missouri. He underwent two fellowships; one at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, in Memphis, and a second at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
