Cam Neely Foundation Gifts $1.5M to Tufts Medical for Endoscopy Suite Development, Renovation

The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care has donated $1.5 million to Tufts Medical Center in Boston for the creation of a new endoscopy suite and renovation of an existing one, according to a Boston Business Journal report.

The new suite will be named in honor of Cam Neely's mother who died from colon cancer. The suite, which will be located on Tufts Medical Center's third floor and called the Marlene Neely Endoscopy Suite, is scheduled to open in 2013.

Renovations to the existing suite, housed on the Tufts Medical Center campus, are expected to begin later this year.
