Borland Groover breaks ground on Florida endoscopy center, ASC

Jacksonville, Fla.-based gastroenterology provider Borland Groover has broken ground on a new endoscopy center and ASC in St. Johns County, Fla.

The Durbin Crossing Endoscopy Center will be 35,000 square feet, according to a May 19 news release from Borland Groover. It will include an ASC on the first floor with seven procedure rooms and the second floor will have thirty-two medical office exam rooms.

The ASC will be the fifth in North Florida that is owned and operated by Borland Groover GI specialists and United Surgical Partners International. It will also be Borland Groover's second endoscopy surgery center in St. Johns County.

The center is expected to open in the summer of 2024.
