Nilay Kavathia, MD, and Paul Berggreen, MD, of Arizona Digestive Health, have produced a smartphone app designed to simplify and improve patients' colonoscopy preparation experience, according to an EndoNurse report.
A study of the app was presented at Digestive Disease Week in Orlando, Fla. Of those participating in the study, 84 percent of the patients using the app received a high score on the Boston Bowel Preparation Scales, while only 56 percent of patients not using the app received a high score.
