Nurses Want Mobile Access to Drug Guides and Data

Nurses want immediate access to electronic drug reference tools as they turn increasingly to smartphones while working with patients, a recent survey said.

The survey of nearly 4,000 nurses and nursing students found that 89 percent want a smartphone app version of a drug guide in addition to a traditional print version. The survey also found that 71 percent of nursing professionals use a smartphone regularly for their job and 66 percent of students use a smartphone while studying for exams in nursing school.
