Healthcare spending on outpatient services and long-term care increased from 2001 to 2015, according to Deloitte's 2018 Global health care outlook report.

2001
Hospital inpatient services: 38 percent
Outpatient services and long-term care: 31 percent
Other (includes drug spending and government services): 31 percent

2015
Hospital inpatient services: 26 percent
Outpatient services and long-term care: 46 percent
Other (includes drug spending and government services): 28 percent
