25 salaries by specialty — Orthopedics still reigns supreme

Medpage Today released the results of its salary survey finding orthopedic surgeons still had the highest average salary.

Health Media surveyed more than 20,000 physicians to gather survey data. Of all respondents, 7,753 provided salary data. The data was analyzed and reported by Survey Design & Analysis.
