The Oregon Ambulatory Surgery Center Association has elected a new board of directors.
Bruce C. Johnson, MD, was elected to replace outgoing president Jesseye Arrambide, RN, BSN, CNOR, who will remain on the board. Shelley Yuva, administrator of Slocum Surgery Center in Eugene, was elected vice president.
The post-election executive committee of OASCA's board includes: Neal Maerki, treasurer, Bend Surgery Center, and Marilynn Daberkow, secretary, Willamette Surgery Center, Salem.
General board of directors members include: James Sergeant, East Portland Surgery Center; James Kamps, Surgery Center at Tanasbourne, Hillsboro; Pam Slater, Kaiser Permanente, Portland; Mark Norling, MD, Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center, Portland; Michael Westmiller, Surgery Center of Southern Oregon, Medford; Jesseye Arrambide, OASCA immediate past president, Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center, Tigard; Kecia Norling, OASCA past president, Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center, Portland.
