The report interviews Stephen Zabinski, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and president of the surgery center on his experience with hip replacement surgery in an outpatient setting. According to the report, Dr. Zabinski has been performing the surgeries for three years and at his ASC for the last six months.
The trend toward outpatient hip replacements is expected to continue growing as more Americans age and are living longer, according to the report.
