Cigna has appointed Greg Allen as president for the Tennessee market.
Here are five notes on Mr. Allen's appointment:
1. Mr. Allen will be responsible for Cigna products and services in Tennessee, like employer-based group benefit plans and plans offered to Medicare beneficiaries.
2. His main goals will be to increase customer satisfaction through personalized service and improve health and affordability by developing Tennessee-specific programs with healthcare professionals.
3. Before this appointment, Mr. Allen worked for Cigna-HealthSpring, most recently as the leader of the Alabama and Tennessee markets.
4. Prior to Cigna-HealthSpring, Mr. Allen served as director of finance for North American Medical Management.
5. Mr. Allen graduated from the Nashville HealthCare Council Fellows program.
