Wellspring Capital Management is acquiring Minneapolis-based Center for Diagnostic Imaging for an undisclosed amount.

1. CDI operates imaging centers, ASCs and mobile imaging centers in more than 20 states.
2. CDI has nearly 2,000 employees across the U.S.
3. Wellspring Managing Partner Alex Carles said the acquisition would support CDI's existing relationships in the area.
4. CDI CEO and President Rick Long said, "The future is very bright for CDI and we look forward to working with Wellspring on this exciting new chapter for our organization."
