Wichita, Kansas-based Via Christi Health bought 25 percent ownership interest in Rock Medical Assets, the entity developing Rock Regional Hospital in Derby, Kan., according to the Derby Informer.
1. The price of the transaction wasn't disclosed.
2. Construction on the $41 million Rock Regional Hospital began in 2017. The hospital and ASC will become part of Via Christi's network.
3. Dallas-based Candor Healthcare and with local physicians will manage the day-to-day operations of Rock Regional Hospital and Rock Surgery Center.
