Hauppauge, N.Y.-based SightMD entered into a strategic partnership with West Babylon, N.Y.-based Lindenhurst Eye Physicians & Surgeons.
Here's what you should know:
1. Lindenhurst Eye's five ophthalmologists and two optometrists will join SightMD's more than 50 physicians.
2. Lindenhurst Eye providers will continue seeing patients out of its Long Island locations.
3. Richard Nattis, MD, Lindenhurst Eye's founder, said, "We were extremely deliberate about evaluating our alternatives and ultimately found that SightMD's patient-first approach to care and its track record of delivering the highest levels of clinical quality aligned with the culture my partners and I have built at Lindenhurst Eye over the last 34 years."
