The Oak Brook (Ill.) Village Board has approved the construction of an outpatient facility, which is a joint venture between Rush University Medical Center and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, both in Chicago, according to a Chicago Tribune report.
Here are three things to know:
1. The 103,000-square-foot building includes an ambulatory surgery center and medical office space.
2. It will focus on offering orthopedic care, athletic performance improvement programs, as well as rehabilitation and recovery services.
3. The board unanimously approved the construction and development.
